Fearne Cotton whips Jimmy Carr into shape for Sport Relief

20th January 2012

Fearne Cotton and Jimmy Carr have joined forces to launch this year's Sport Relief. Sergeant Cotton is going to whipping Jimmy into shape.

They are hoping to smash all previous records set before and have over one million men, women and children are expected to pull up their socks and take part in the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile in order to raise some serious cash for vulnerable people across the UK and the world’s poorest countries.

She said: 'I'm a huge fan of Sport Relief and thoroughly enjoyed whipping Jimmy into shape for this year's campaign. It's sweet revenge as I spent five days of the last Sport Relief cycling from John O'Groats to Land's End and Jimmy popped along for one day.'

The Sport Relief Weekend is taking place from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th March and it’ll be three whole days of energy, entertainment and events to help the nation go the extra mile.
