BLOG: Comin 'Atcha

I hope you enjoyed the show last night. I'm not sure people knew what to expect after watching Fearne and... Peaches last week. I've had an overwhelming response from that show, people shocked, surprised and happy to watch the awkwardness of the situation. This week's show with Alesha Dixon was very different.

Watching it back I realised it was quite an emotional show with many confessions and truths from Alesha. We caught her mid drama as the Strictly Come Dancing furore was in full swing. She dealt with it all so well throwing her huge laugh and grin all over the situation. I have a new found admiration for her getting through it all and staying grounded, stable and happy. I think I would have gone completely MAD experiencing what she's been through this year alone!   I hope the people who slated her before now see the real girl behind the headlines and have compassion for her as she strives on to reach her goals and spread that wicked laugh!     Omg i watched the show and though it was bri8lliant. The way Alesha really opened up to you was great and the audience really got to see what she is like behind the scenes. I think Alesha is a great judge for Strictly and that the people who slate her just don't like change and the refreshing vibe that Alesha brings to the show.

    I can't wait for the next series!!!

  • I thought it was definitely the best out of the 3.....you seemed so much more relaxed and at ease with her.....I think Alisha was the only one who really let you in and let us see the real her.

  • I absolutely love Alesha. She has gone through soo much and yet has managed to come out of it so well. The show definitely captured what a determined, successful and inspriational role model Alesha is.

  • I loved the show last night, Alesha came accross well, open and honest. She seemed to get on really well with you. Peaches could learn some manners from her!!!

  • I enjoyed the show, I really like and admire Alesha, she is a great strong, positiverole model for women of any age who can celebrate taking it on the chin and sticking up two fingers to those who dissed her and having success.

    I enjoy the show format, look forward to more of the series in the future, hmmm who next to interview...?

  • last week, i couldnt believe how peaches acted towards you. falling asleep ect, and she proved that shes only famous because of her father. paris was lovley though, and so was alisha. both are more skilled then peaches will ever be, just gos to show that fame doesnt go to everyones heads.

    also i would like to add that through it all Fearne showed that she is a real star, im an now offically a number one Fearne fan. shes rocks, Thursday nights arent going to be the same :(

  • Already loved Alesha Dixon but watched the show and loved it! She's been through a lot and is still sooo upbeat!
    Show was amazin Fearne as always, keep up the hard work!

  • I thought the way you handled all 3 shows was fantastic. You certainly changed my Perception of Paris, Peaches well...I'm still not sure haha and I was always a fan of Alesha and the show really showed how driven and head-strong she is. All while staying completly lovely!

Alesha is very funny and seems very light hearted! i hope you continue with the show Fearne! its all i've been looking forward to watching in the last few weeks! i think your great and i really admire how you handle difficult situations especially when you were interviewing peaches!

    I agree Thursday nights wont be the same,please tell us all you are making another series.

  • Great show last night I am a big fan of Alesha even though I am old enought to be her dad. It does not look staged. You asked some good questions but I would like you have pushed it a bit further when she skilfully changed the subject.(even though you are a mate)
    Noticed you need to get your table manners sorted out with the knife and fork in the wrong hand in the Diner !
    I like your casual style.

  • thought it was a gr8 show Fearne i watched it twice myself Alesha is a wonderfull person and has a heart of gold and im so pleased she has overcome what the press has written about her in the past which was so uncalled 4 and gone on 2 achieve so much, wish i had ur confidence Alesha, love u x

  • I thought alesha was truely inspirational. My admiration for her has grown into unreal levels. She opened up and was honest and Ive never heard more real words coming from a 'celebrity'.

    Unlike Peaches she wasn't rude, obstenate or self evasive, she was open, honest and the same bubbly person she know and love her to be.

    I hope she does amazingly well in her career- I personally love her songs.

  • Hi Fearne, I love your show it rocks & so do you, l find you so funny and l love your sence of humour, l think Alesha is brill for the way she is an her attitude to life, more people should be like her. When l first saw the add for the episode of your show with Alesha it was shown straight after an episode of Peter Andre's show last week, and l know it may sound mad but l think you should do some match makeing with Peter & Alesha, l think they would be so good together.   • Hi Fearne, i really enjoyed the three shows. I'm a big fan of you and your work, I thought you did a really good job, and Alesha really opened up to you, Alesha seems like a really nice person, very down to earth and really happy! I love her laugh :)

    I'm not exactly likened to Peaches, But the show with Paris was really interesting.

    PLEASE DO MORE OF THE SHOWS! They're really good. If you do decide to do another series, Would you ever interview Cheryl Cole?

    I am hoping to be like you some day! I want to be a tv presenter!!

  • Thought the Alesha show was fantastic, she's really down to earth and very honest about everything! She should be applauded for the attitude she kept during the whole Strictly palava! I enjoyed the whole series - here's hoping for more next year too!

  • hey fearne, ive actually not watched the show yet im waiting to catch the repeat on itv2 tonight. i love alesha anyway think shes an amazing person and role model and ive seen a few clips of the show on you tube and it looks goooooooood. ive been watching all the fearne and shows and think they are great love what you are doing as it gives us a good nosey into their lives which is fab. altho at first i only wanted to watch the show because it was yours and i love everything you do as you are uba cool, but i actually look forward to seing the people you are interviewing now aswell, but still dunno how you managed not to slap peaches,for that i admire you lol. keep up the good work

  • Hi :) ive watched all of the episodes so far and i have to say Alesha was definitely the most down to earth! i really enjoyed watching you following her life as she is a great character and she is so positive about life.

    I love how you handled all the interviews especially with Peaches! Paris seemed suprisingly nice and we all get to see the real people behind the celebrity title which is so fascinating!

    you probably wont read this but worth a shot :) if you do another seriouse, please try and get chris martin love him so much and it will be good.
    The show with peaches was really weird, but you seemed to get along with alesha and it was more comfortable to watch.

    I would be very interested in a show seeing Fearne and...Victoria Beckham! not that would be awesome!

  • Alesha Dixon is a great inspiration, good on her for coping through all the pap rubbish & celebrity spin - there are companies set up just to cause outrage and shock everyone and my goodness did they work their magic on Alesha! Bless her - they are Cockroches! I am a great believer of What goes comes around - Anyway she has already proven herself on the show - she has grounded views and good comments and is always fair even if outspoken at times on strictly. Alesha let you in to her world and was honest and true. Love her! Fearne - another interesting interview - can't wait for the next one! Take care honey and keep up the fab work! xx

  • Love watching your show Fearne.. to see the celebs and also what your wearing!... agree with some of the other comments about how you dealt with peaches pretty well! it was frustrating just watching her.. Paris proved to be much more genuine than I thought and I loved Alesha too..the normal one of the bunch! Hope there are more shows coming up!

  • I hate how people slate Alesha.. I think she is soo lovely and down to earth. I love love love Fearne meets... as im obv a hugeeee fan of Fearne :)
    Im not such a fan of Peaches im afraid.. but I did like Paris.. I thought she was gonna be really bitchy but she wasn't at all!!
    And as if you got to see her room in that hotel.. jeeeezzzz that was amazinggg!Anyways loveeee you Fearne!!
